- Projects are fast paced, require a self-directed person who can run and manage multiple projects and the competing deadlines while coordinating effectively with colleagues of other design disciplines.
- This position requires an individual with excellent management, verbal and written communication skills as it will require direct interaction with staff, coordinating with other disciplines, direct client/contractor contact, coordination with municipalities having jurisdiction, and design communications with colleagues to formulate needs into comprehensive plans and specifications.
- Project Manager will co-manage rapidly growing, coffee shop franchise locations from Entitlements through Construction Administration.
- Ability to manage a workload of multiple small and medium sized commercial tenant improvement and freestanding building projects.
- Candidate will spend a portion of their time working with other project managers to schedule projects and balance staffing needs.

Qualifications:
- BS in Architecture.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in with a professional architectural firm.
- Ability to prepare complete, concise and organized estimates, reports, drawings and specifications.
- Ability to organize and prioritize workload based on competing demands.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD required.
- Construction Administration experience required.
- Ability to consult with the client and its agents to establish project requirements
- Working knowledge of State and local building codes, Energy Code, and zoning codes, standards, and regulations and ability to prepare documents for submission with all applicable code requirements.
- Respond to code authority questions and comments, interact with contractors and inspectors as necessary.
- Manage Project Deadlines and ability to delegate work amongst staff with associated tasks/scopes of work.
- Work with other Project Managers to manage staffing firm-wide (10-20 staff members)
- Previous retail experience desirable
- Studio Leader/Manager experience/ability desirable.
